1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Transportation experience for Direct Hire position in the energy corridor. As a leading provider of transportation solutions, our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of their clients and improve the transportation infrastructure in the communities they serve.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct business development efforts for transportation and public works clients including TxDOT, HCTRA, local public works departments and some involvement with transit agencies (Houston Metro, etc.)
- Serve as Project Manager and oversee operations for transportation projects
- Develop, oversee, and monitor project activities including scope, budget, and schedule management
- Mentor and management supporting staff for transportation projects
- Participate in engineering organizations (e.G., ACEC, ASCE and AASHTO)
- Support company-wide transportation initiatives
- Deliver projects on scope, budget, schedule and quality
- Develop new client relationships for RRP and build on current client relationships, including partnerships with other consulting firms
- Win and manage a variety of transportation projects that you are passionate about, including all elements of the project life-cycle (pre-positioning, pursuit, negotiations, project planning, technical delivery, financial management, etc.)
- Lead the analysis, designs, and preparations of technical reports, plans, specifications and estimates for various transportation projects as well as pursue available opportunities growing and maintaining client relationships.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer registered in state of Texas or ability to obtain a license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management scheduling and financial tools
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills
- 10 plus years Transportation design experience
- TxDOT Transportation Project Management experience is a plus
- Proficient in OpenRoads and all relevant software’s
- Experience and relationships with TxDOT and other Houston region transit and transportation agencies
- Contributes to a positive and productive team-oriented environment. Offers open communication/feedback within the team. Minimizes conflict and builds collaboration to maintain productive team.
