Catalyst Handling Project Manager:
As a Catalyst Handling Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of catalyst handling projects within the organization. This includes coordinating with clients, leading project teams, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The role will involve strategic planning, resource management, and effective communication to ensure successful project execution. You will report to Business Unit Manger
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
2. Client Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensure their requirements and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a project team, including catalyst handling specialists, engineers, and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
4. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all catalyst handling activities comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
5. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
6. Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure client satisfaction.
7. Budget Management:
Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and manage the project budget to ensure financial objectives are met.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular progress reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
9. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies within catalyst handling projects.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
High School Diploma
2. Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in project management, within the chemical processing or petrochemical industry, with a focus on catalyst handling and related processes.
3. Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of catalyst handling processes, equipment, and relevant industry standards and best practices.
4. Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Safety Focus:
Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
7. Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, and familiarity with relevant software for technical analysis and reporting.
