Job Description
Responsibilities for this exciting opportunity include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for compliance with applicable policies and procedures, as well as both internal and local codes. Ensures quality and effectiveness of key results of major cross-functional projects through sound design, early risk assessments, pre-engineering, solid budgetary planning, and implementation of fallback strategies.
Develops, plans, coordinates, and directs the engineering aspects of construction projects with specific scopes and requirements. Manages multiple concurrent projects related to facilities and utilities for diverse sites.
When developing a project scope, gather business needs and thoroughly understand the customer and business objective. Then, lead the development of said scope and Project Charter and document all requirements that satisfy the stakeholders' needs and expectations.
Incorporates business foresight of emerging technological trends.
Uses established PM tools and techniques (FEP, Cash Flow Projections, Scope / Schedule Control, etc.) to stay within authorized budget limits and achieve the overall project and organizational objectives to time, cost, and quality.
Contributes to developing project management best practices and is extremely EHS cognizant.
Defines roles and responsibilities. Monitors and controls project work to meet the performance objectives defined in the project plan.
With good judgment, review change requests and manage and approve changes to the deliverables, organizational process assets, project documents, and project plan.
Closes the project by finalizing all activities across all the Project Management Process Groups to formally complete the project or phase. Ensures the project design complies with all engineering standards, project objectives, and customer needs.
Creates or coordinates the solutions for complex problems;
integrates regulatory and operational needs;
performs cost/benefit analysis. Explores multiple alternatives. I seek input from cross-functional teams to resolve major project hurdles. Resolves problems and crisis situations requiring fast, astute decision-making with rapid implementation.
Mentors others by sharing knowledge and expertise and willingness to provide guidance with an All for One attitude.
Establish relationships and good communication channels with customers;
document agreements andcommitments. Acts as a trusted partner.
Ability to travel within State and/or Nationally, depending on business needs and strategy. Travel expected frequency 25%
