Bridges SI seeks a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to continue developing our growth and prestige.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director and is expected to be a contributing member of the Operations Team.
You will manage employees with clear expectations and communication to drive the execution of project budgets, resources, and deadlines. You will be a great fit if you are a strong multi-tasker who can organize and oversee project procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This position will provide clarity and alignment to support the balance of the Operations Management team.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee project teams to ensure successful completion within budget and on time with exceptional customer engagement ratings
Efficient resource planning to allocate and distribute resources to various projects accurately
Mentor team members to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Look for creative ways to increase productive capacity and efficiency and identify and communicate inefficiencies to the Managing Director
Facilitate the resolution of issues effectively – seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the issues timely while maximizing satisfaction across the interested parties
Manage and mentor Project Managers to identify project risks and develop risk management strategies
Facilitate communication between Project Managers and clients to ensure project goals and objectives are met while customer expectations are exceeded
Foster a culture of accountability across the operational departments
Continue development of KPIs to increase profit while not sacrificing customer satisfaction
Supporting company initiatives and programs as required
Provide monthly project reviews with input from Project Managers
Work with Leadership to learn and refine the department’s needs and goals
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in project and people management is preferred
Data-driven management style
Experience with handling escalations and reporting to the executive level
Experience with employee development and building a team culture based on delivering results at speed
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization including leadership, cross-functional teams, and third parties
Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables
Demonstrated leadership ability to establish and manage a high‐performance team
Must be willing to work in the Herndon, VA office (partial telework is afforded)
Home Office Requirements:
Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required
Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
Headset with a microphone and noise suppression
Private work area and adequate power source
