USALCO Baltimore Plant, LLC is a major unit within the manufacturing network of a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment, pulp and paper manufacturing, the making of catalysts for oil refining, the housing market and other sectors. The right individual will have a can-do attitude, the ability to be part of a team while operating independently, and consistently performs to very high standards.
USALCO is in search of a Project Administrator that can support the Engineering Department as we continue to grow and build our organization.
Essential Job Functions:
Update financial spreadsheets for capital projects by communicating with stakeholders and ensuring their information is up to date in the tracking spreadsheets.
Assist Engineering in PO requests, invoicing, and goods receipt logging.
Organize, log and track project and engineering documentation.
Assist in the development and updating of capital project reports to senior management.
Track safety records and other relevant information from contractors, subs and other organizations engineering interacts with.
Assist Project Managers and Engineers in procurement, supplies, shipping, communications, and general support for day-to-day operations.
Collate notes and meeting documentation.
Post, update and maintain the engineering SharePoint site.
Look for opportunities for improvement and present ideas that will better the organization.
Requirements:
Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
Ability to track and organize project documentation including but not limited to change orders, requests for information, safety inspections, QA, punch lists, permits, timesheets, and other documents as necessary.
Have a "
Can-do"
attitude, the ability to be part of a team while operating independently, and consistently performs to very high standards. Not afraid to get hands dirty while performing duties.
Experience in industrial construction activities and manufacturing operations.
Eager to learn and adapt to an environment that can change rapidly.
Ability to work in active chemical plants around operating equipment in hazardous environments. Roll is not limited to office environment.
Fluent in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One-Note and other essential tools necessary for the office environment.
Able to lift and carry 30lb items when necessary.
Experience in Aptean ERP software.
This is an on-site roll with no ability for remote work.
