Job Description
As a Project Construction Manager / Inspector, you will assume a crucial leadership role, applying a wealth of diversified knowledge in construction management principles and practices to a broad spectrum of assignments. Operating at an advanced level, you will independently make decisions on complex construction management issues, overseeing detailed tasks such as reviewing design specifications, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring project progress aligns with objectives. Your responsibilities will extend to preparing comprehensive project documents, adhering to project scope, schedule, and budget, and driving projects to successful completion through adept planning and coordination.
You will play a pivotal role in independently performing complex assignments that require the development of new and improved construction techniques and procedures. In addition, your collaborative efforts will span across various Olsson teams, where you will provide guidance and direction to team members on tasks ranging from constructability reviews to project completion. Working closely with project managers, you will report overall progress and proactively address potential problems, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met. Your expertise will be showcased in projects ranging from utility infrastructure and sewer lines to water distribution systems and roadway development. You will travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
