Program Manager

Aledium Group, a sister company of AlediumHR, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager for our client based outside of Asheville, NC. This person will be in charge of contract executions, laser-focusedon cost, schedule, and performance objectives that align with their strategic goals.
As a Program Manager, you will be entrusted with leading a cross-functional team. You will wield the authority and responsibility to assign tasks to individuals outside of your direct supervisory chain with full management support. Expected travel for this role is less than 5%.
Required Skills:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing and leading programs and products, with a demonstrated track record in Program Management
Proven ability to work independently and lead a team across functional areas to achieve success
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Strong understanding and implementation of Risk Management principles
Desired Skills:
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or a clear path to obtaining a PMP shortly after hire
Strong strategic thinking skills, with an emphasis on implementation, delegation, and follow-up
Technical knowledge of Defense-related products, particularly in Radar, Avionics, and Sensors
Experience with Export Control, ITAR, and FAR/DFAR regulations
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project customers, cross-functional teams, management, and assigned personnel to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, required resources, work plans, budgets, and schedules
Manage program and project teams to maximize return on investment, coordinating and delegating cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accountability for delivering against established business goals and objectives.
