Job Description
AECOMis seeking a Program Manager - Transit Systems to be based inOakland, CA or San Jose, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead execution of significant rail/transit project delivery.
Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparingtransportation project teams.
Establish relationships withlocal agencies and be a visible leader/trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.
A desire to work with externalcontractors/consultants, AECOM’s otherdivisions/regions and interact directly with major clients local and globally.
Investigate, negotiate, and resolve project issues.
Supports the Rail/Transit Division for the West Region in the execution of rail/transit contracts for program management, design, and construction management.
Manage staff and tasks associated with rail/transit contracts.
Support various rail professional services pursuits related to major rail capital programs including light rail, heavy rail, or commuter rail.
Manage multidiscipline teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget on multi-million tasks or projects.
Lead meetings with clients and stakeholders.
Mentor junior to mid-level staff.
Develop and maintain the project execution plan for assigned projects.
