We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Financial Manager to oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our various programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. This role is critical to the successful execution of our programs, requiring a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management.
Core Responsibilities:
Mission:
Maximize profits, track liquidity and cash flow, develop financial scenarios.
Support functional partners with Estimating &
Pricing.
Lead the financial program review process encompassing establishment of program budgets, validation of actual expenditures, development of estimates to complete, identification of risks &
opportunities, recommendation of actions to take, communication of root causes of program variances.
Ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with internal procedures and external regulations profitability is properly realized based on expected costs.
Work with functional leaders and finance team to develop monthly forecast and annual budget for Income Statement, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.
Partner with functional leader on proposed capital projects, ensuring ROI thresholds are met, payback periods are reasonable, and other company needs are met for each project. Track performance against approved capital budget and communicate status of projects.
Partner with functional leaders on strategic planning and key initiatives, including identification and execution of risk mitigation and realizing opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance, or economics. Master’s degree preferred.
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a program or project management setting.
Solid understanding of P&
L statement, working capital management and cash flow forecasting.
Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience partnering with leadership of various functions throughout the organization.
Gains trust, acts with integrity and communicates effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
