Job Description
The Program Director-Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Events reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Program Director-Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Events leads planning and implementation activities for Northwestern Memorial Foundation, including the management of projects of strategic and operational importance to NM. The Program Director, Philanthropy Donor Events, in partnership with the Director, Philanthropy, utilizes their program and process expertise to set departmental goals, provide clear and consistent direction and feedback to lead high-performing teams executing on key NMF deliverables. They develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to advance NMHC strategic initiatives.
NMF raises funds to support the health system’s strategic goals to deliver exceptional care and experience, advance and extend medicalscience and knowledge and enhance people, culture and resources through:
(1) raisingplanned,principal and major gifts, (2)cultivating andstewarding donors, and (3) fostering a culture of philanthropy at NM.
Responsibilities:
With Director, Philanthropy develop and execute an integrated plan to secure and increase philanthropic support for Northwestern Memorial Foundation from corporations including sponsorships, major giving and other engagement partnerships.
Develop and execute a corporate pipeline development strategy to build, grow and sustain a successful corporate program.
Cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of corporate prospects and donors.
Oversee with the manager of fundraising events the strategy, communication and execution of fundraising events to support philanthropic priorities at Northwestern Memorial Foundation.
Oversee the implementation of sponsorship-related partnerships with the events team ensuring needs are met and exploring opportunities for further philanthropic engagement beyond events.
Craft and implement a compelling case for support to maximize corporate giving.
Monitor and report on corporate giving and partnership activities, providing regular updates to Northwestern Memorial Foundation leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
