Job Summary
The Program Coordinator serves as a team leader supporting program staff and assisting in overseeing the program's daily operations. The Program Coordinator ensures the delivery of quality service in accordance with the rules and regulations established as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Coordinator’s key areas of responsibility and duties include:

Along with the Program Manager, help develop, review, and revise, as necessary all administrative policies and procedures in keeping with program requirements.
Assist with the oversight of service delivery, consulting regularly with the Program Manager regarding quality control issues to maintain the highest standard of services.
Assists with consistently inputting client information into agency’s database.
Support Program Manager with oversight of Food Pantry Associates and staff.
Essential Duties:
Facilitates workshops that promote nutrition education. Assists with implementation and maintenance of Leah’s pantry certification requirements that ensure pantry ambitious standards and best practices.
Collaborates on development and implementation of procedures for inventory control and distribution.
Maintain courteous relationships with local food outlets, groceries, and other food distributors to secure donated food items.
Maintain a respectful, friendly, and cooperative environment where all are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Create a clean and safe environment by following food safety regulations.
Ensure an appropriate amount of food is stocked and available for expected food pantry needs. Manage the pantry supply chain.
Schedule regular food pick-ups from the appropriate resources.
Prepare and submit monthly reports as required by internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all reports are accurate and submitted on time with the supervisor’s approval.
Participate in other St. Joseph Center community, administrative, and fundraising activities, as necessary.
Along with the Program Manager, coordinate and administer vacation distribution events.
Assist in onboarding of new staff and volunteers. Assist with new staff and volunteer training.
Along with Program Manager communicate with volunteer manager to ensure pantry is fully staffed.
Assist with and ensure that all pantry administrative tasks are completed promptly, including weekly food orders, inventorying scheduling appointments, creating client announcements, developing PowerPoints, and managing Pantry calendar.
