JOB DETAILS
Base Pay is $21.50 per hour, plus $0.85 shift differential
Day Shift:
7am - 7pm, 12 hour rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, every other weekend)
Benefits Start Day 1
80 Hours Vacation

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is an entry way to the maintenance group and is a key liaison between the maintenance and production teams. This role will be responsible for the planning and execution required to keep proper tooling installed and functioning on extrusion lines. This position will use the production schedule to prepare all tooling, help lead installs and removals of tooling, track tooling usage, and inspect tooling to determine proper cleaning and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Stages, delivers, and returns all line tooling including fixtures, crops, dies, rubber rolls, and emboss rolls according to production schedule
Leads installation and removal of all tooling from lines, including die jobs
Inputs tooling information into MES to track wearable part life
Inspects tooling as it is returned and repairs/ cleans as necessary to put back into service
Assists in routine maintenance tasks including working on barcoders and packing tables
Operates forklifts and manlifts;
transports heavy parts and equipment
Operates equipment in the maintenance shop including, but not limited to drill, lathe, saws, grinders, sanders, etc.
Basic shop machines operation and tool and die repair
Develop expertise in two of these areas:
hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLCs, mechanical, or fabricator/machinist
Identifies needed parts to repair equipment and facility;
completes required paperwork to order new parts and to track existing parts
Maintains work logs as required
Performs grounds/facilities repairs, as required
Maintains supplies at workstation
Use assigned timecard daily to accurately record time worked
Respond to on-call emergencies as needed
Attend weekly shift meetings and/or monthly plant meetings, if required
Actively participate in all plant safety programs, depending on location
Notify department supervisor and/or group leader if proper tools are not furnished to complete job functions
