Summary:
The Production Superintendent oversees production operations, ensuring the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality structures. Responsibilities include planning production runs, achieving production goals, fostering communication between teams, identifying process improvements, and managing employee performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule production runs in coordination with the Pre-Production team.
Achieve production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Facilitate communication between teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor production processes and address barriers through problem-solving.
Lead, motivate, and develop employees using effective management techniques.
Maintain records and report outcomes to leadership regularly.
Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with other departments to meet objectives.
Handle staffing needs, conduct interviews, and manage employee timecards.
Manage and prioritize manufacturing and receiving activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, site management, or construction.
Knowledge of construction materials preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and understand technical information.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Total Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year.
