Production Manager shall be responsible for the scheduling, and planning of field operations across their assigned region. Directly supervises Foremen and Crew Leads.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, schedule and bid proposal with the project team
Monitor all daily activities of assigned projects. Provide direction and oversight to the Foremen as it pertains to their specific project duties
Manage labor costs, forecast labor requirements, and recruit labor as necessary to complete projects goals
Implement and comply with the company safety program with a positive attitude towards project safety for all personnel and the public.
Communicate safety and compliance concerns to the company
Oversee the submission of required company documents (i.E. timesheets, etc.)
Administer all personnel issues as it pertains to company expectations related to field operations
Manage vacations, sick leave, personal days and leaves of absence requested from field personnel
Monitor potential changes to contract, project conditions and scope of work and advise the Project Manager of such changes.
Advise the Project Manager of possible claims or disputes and provide documentation as requested
Obtain daily production information from Foreman and crews
Track the project schedule and keep the Project Manager informed of progress
Review job cost reports with the Project Manager to assure accuracy and address any deviations from project estimations
Able to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of employee’s and direct them in a positive way to become a productive member of the company
Travel to job sites around the country to review the work as well as the workers.
Requirements
Pass background check and drug screening requirements
Prepare detailed construction projects plans, schedules, and estimates
Read and interpret construction drawings, and specifications
Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
Stand continuously for long periods of time
Able to lift-up to 75Ibs
30-hour OSHA Training and Certification preferred
Experience working large number of employee’s is a must
Travel
Any experience in the commercial tent or scaffold industry a plus
Education
High School education or equivalent
Work Environment
Is exposed to excessive noise
Is around moving machinery
Is exposed to dust
Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required.
