This pivotal position will put you in command of our production area, where your leadership will directly impact our operational efficiency, product quality, and overall workplace environment. Key Responsibilities:
Production Area Captain:
You'll oversee the entire production area, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Taskmaster and Scheduler:
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles at the right times.
Guardian of the Gates:
Manage the opening and closing of our facility, ensuring that operations start and end on schedule.
Safety and Quality Champion:
Enforce our safety and quality policies with zeal, creating a work environment that prioritizes the well-being of our team and the excellence of our products.
Master of Staging:
Prepare staging and working stations according to the 5S methodology, optimizing our space for maximum efficiency and safety.
Quality Control Lead:
Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards and client requirements.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, with further education in a relevant field considered an asset.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least one year in a leadership role.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear instructions and feedback to team members, and liaising with other departments.
A deep understanding of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Physical ability to work in various conditions and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Availability to work extended hours as needed, embracing the flexibility required to ensure operational excellence.
