Under regular supervision, you will be the cornerstone of ensuring top-notch quality, streamlined shipping, and meticulous receiving procedures. Your role is pivotal in adapting procedures to complete assignments and acting as a beacon of knowledge and problem-solving for your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Maverick:
Vigilantly inspect all incoming materials, especially Coils, ensuring they meet our high standards. You'll be instrumental in verifying paperwork and seamlessly integrating information into our ERP system.
Shipping and Receiving Maestro:
Prepare all shipping documents with precision and timeliness. Your role is crucial in maintaining the heartbeat of our department's operations.
Documentation Wizard:
Compile and curate quality documentation like mill certificates and dimensional reports. You'll have the exciting task of uploading these into our customer’s cloud, pulling information from diverse sources within our network and ERP system.
Communication Ace:
Demonstrate your exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing, with co-workers, departments, drivers, customers, and vendors. Your voice will be a bridge connecting various facets of our operations.
Detail-Oriented Professional:
Take charge of verifying information against a range of documents like bills of lading and invoices. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our operations.
Reporting Guru:
Review and prepare reports with an analytical eye, ensuring every document you touch is accurate and treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Problem-Solving Enthusiast:
With supervision, showcase your ability to tackle practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions, and find innovative solutions.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and an aptitude for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply information from various documents.
Fluent in the English language, enabling effective communication.
Ready to take on 12-hour shifts in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, a fast-paced work ethic, and a team player spirit.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement is highly valued.
Multitasking prowess and a focused approach in a fast-paced setting.
