Production Coater - Rotating Shift

We are seeking candidates for the Production Coater roles on a rotating 12-hour shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $26.75 per hour. Interested? What a Production Coater will do:

• Use core cutter to cut cores to the exact size of the finished paper roll
• Operate overhead crane to transport 3-ton spools of paper from coating machine to winder machine
• Set slitter knives on Coater winder
• Thread paper through the winder to be attached to a core to produce a finished paper roll
• Manually hand band metal strapping, 1-5 bands per roll
• Enter roll test information into computer system ensuring quality standards are met before shipping
• Operate mobile equipment such as skid steer (bobcat), roll clamp truck, and forklift

What you need to be a Production Coater:

• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
• Willing to work in a hot dusty environment
• Ability to read a tape measure is a must
• Willing to be certified on various mobile equipment
