Job Description
As part of the marketing team and reporting to the Vice President of Brand and
Product Marketing, you will be responsible for product marketing related to the
Vention platform and applications, from a messaging and positioning point of view to
Executing launch campaigns. This position has one direct report:
a product marketing
Specialist. We are looking for someone who wants to build the product marketing
Function in a fast-growing environment. More specifically, you will:
Product Marketing
Lead product marketing for Vention core software products (i.E., MachineBuilder, MachineLogic, MachineCloud, MachinePortal, etc.), and applications - including technical messaging, value proposition positioning, takedown statement, etc.
Define and execute a go-to-market strategy for new applications and software/feature launches, including target audience, channel selection, campaign format, co-marketing opportunities, and planning to make the launches pertinent all year long.
Develop a clear product strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives, ensuring the product meets customer needs and drives business growth.
Lead “Marketing” deliverables of the TMP process for new software/feature and application launches.
Product Management and Competition
In collaboration with Product Managers, maintain competitive intelligence on competitor’s products and their evolving go-to-market strategies. Also, stays updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
Working closely with Sales stakeholders, benchmark and provide pricing guidance for Vention’s Saas and applications offering to the organization.
Support Annual Product Roadmap, and Quarterly Product Review (QPR), bringing market intelligence and feedback to new product investment decisions.
Work with brand marketing to support the Analyst Relation playbook, educating the market on Vention's platform, application, and product offerings.
Marketing Communications
Act as a technical authority within the marketing team, providing input and reviewing copywriting, visual selection, etc.
Suggest asset types per launches (ex:
carrousel, photos, videos) and ensure proper execution.
Support various brand, event, and content initiatives, bringing product and industry expertise forward.
Strong analytical skills to understand and identify patterns, conclude on AB testing, and leverage user feedback to optimize the product and improve user experience continuously.
Cross-functional collaboration skills to work with sales enablement to educate Account Executives on product offerings (i.E., value proposition, competitive positioning, takedown statements, etc.).
Strong communication skills to clearly articulate the product vision, strategy, and updates to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Strong presentation and storytelling abilities are essential in conveying the product's value proposition and gaining stakeholders' buy-in.
