Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Mechanical engineering professional to be our Food Engineering Group. In this role, you will assist with the design, specification, and installation of our standard product line of food freezing equipment. The Product Line Engineer will work closely with Business Development Managers to support the development of offerings that meet the unique aspects of our customers' needs and expectations. Work independently and make technical decisions based on full awareness of viability, cost and other benefits. Assist with the development and implementation innovative solutions.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:

* Works closely with Food Freezer production team to understand key equipment requirements and trouble customer operational issues. Commercial offerings consist of food freezing equipment, wastewater treatment equipment, as well as other industrial process equipment.
* Gain an understanding of our standard product line equipment and their capabilities.
* Work with team members to assist in resolving technical and quality issues
* Participates in multi-functional teams to establish solutions
* Meets with customers to discuss program growth opportunities or changes
* Travel up to 25%
Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or other related technical discipline required.
* 3-5 years of PLC knowelege and experience required
* Demonstrated organizational, verbal/written communication, and problem solving/analytical skills.
* Project Management with good communication skills with customers and vendors.
* Demonstrated 3-dimensional modeling of mechanical systems and an understanding of how to convert 3-dimensional models into two-dimensional engineering drawing required.
* Willingness to work at the food or industrial production facility.
* An understating of control system design (eg Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 and Programming Allen Bradley PanelView Plus graphic terminals);
experience a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs across multiple organizational disciplines preferred.
* Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing issues and tasks.
