Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our technology team as a Product Architect. This role will work closely with our product managers and software development vendors to ensure the successful delivery of our products. The Product Architect will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the product development lifecycle, with a focus on systems architecture, API design, security, scalability, and observability requirements.
This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Headquarters office in Boca Raton, FL.
Requirements
Qualifications:
In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 3 years of experience in software development, with exposure to systems architecture and design.
Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and web services.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
Experience with QA automation frameworks and test automation tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal product managers to define technical requirements and specifications for new products and features.
Lead the design and development of scalable and secure internal APIs that facilitate communication between different components of our systems.
Define and implement best practices for internal API design, ensuring consistency, reusability, and ease of maintenance.
Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through the use of internal APIs, and work with stakeholders to prioritize and implement these enhancements.
Ensure the scalability and performance of our internal APIs by designing for high availability, efficient data transfer, and effective caching strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate internal APIs into existing systems and develop new features and functionality.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of internal API endpoints.
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of internal APIs, and implement improvements as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
