We are seeking a Transit Architecture, Practice Group Manger (PGM) for the Architecture and Urbanism (A&
U) division of the Global Business Area Places. The PGM reports to Business Area Director and works closely with the Transit Architecture Practice Group Director. As the PGM for Transit Architecture, you will grow therespective practice unitpresencein linewith our strategyand financial targets, with a focus on design and technology.
Role accountabilities:
We are looking for a Senior Design Architect with experience in delivering complex projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and creative mind to take on dynamic and challenging projects and be part of leading the creative design initiatives on transit projects both locally and internationally. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, be an out-of-the-box thinker with a talent for developing creative design ideas, will offer a robust design portfolio showing an array of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process.
Lead the Transit Architecture Practice in the US
Develop enduring relationships with clients to understand their business needs and ensure client satisfaction to improve retention and deliver organic revenue growth.
Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of senior architects and designers by recruiting, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure staff are developed, driven and have the necessary skills to deliver the program objectives.
Coach and mentor studio managers and service managers to ensure all projects are set up for success and appropriate governance is adhered to, with the goal ofimproved client satisfaction.
Direct the identification of talent in the practice group in both technical capability and sales and promote career development by directing individuals who are identified, to the appropriate development programs.
Direct decisions on resource utilization within the practice group and maintain the integrity of the unit composition and pyramid management structure to enable resource optimization.
Lead ultimate accountability for performance (utilization, billability, contribution, debtors etc), service quality delivery within the practice group;
develop and oversee theimplementation of the strategy to ensure service quality delivery, service excellence and profitable growth within the practice group, to support the delivery of the line of business objectives
Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the practice group’s clients and the market to identify key trends and emerging opportunities.
Develop relationships throughout Arcadis to foster cooperation and to maximize opportunities to cross-sell within the organization.
Develop and implement the business plan and ensure the team understands it, and the role that they play in its achievement, through the development of the appropriate culture and the provision of context and clarity.
Lead the identification and targeting of clients through the delivery of service excellence to deliver growth in organic revenue in the practice group
Build strong relationships and create successful teams
Minimum 3 days a week in person working at an Arcadis US office
