We have an opening for a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
This is a key position requiring experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) architecture design, RF communications theory, and software defined radio design.
The position requires significant experience with the system design of modems and SDR baseband using FPGA-based, high speed mixed signal (digital, analog, and RF) designs for both ground and space applications. The position also requires the ability to apply standard system engineering practices to interpret high-level requirements, derive child requirements, develop conceptual block diagrams of the digital/firmware architecture, simulate, and build a design that is compliant to the required performance specification.
Additionally, this position requires the ability to lead technical teams and make the necessary assignments to a diverse team of software, FPGA, and hardware engineers. This role also requires the ability to communicate complex conceptions to program management and customers.
