You will be part of an innovative, fast-paced team that is responsible for developing a wide variety of software solutions for internal and external customers.
You will be developing, testing, deploying and maintaining existing software solutions to support Western Digital’s storage products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Product Owner team lead role
· Apply a high level of technical competency to lead complex technical projects from design through implementation, integration, and release, ensuring that the innovations meet the needs and standards of the internal and external customers
· Facilitate leadership and technical development to train and mentor developers within the team, facilitate knowledge-transfer to other teams, and bring team members along into new areas
· Provide input on the group’s technical direction and support change when necessary
· Aware of technical advances within the areas of embedded software engineering and HDDs and apply leadership skills to drive improvements within the team and organization
· Meet objectives with little direction and supervision
· Work collaboratively with other technical teams to plan and develop new features across various embedded software components
· Identify risks, generate recommendations, and implement solutions
· Ensure code quality meets high quality standards, and lead others to achieve high code quality
