Job Description
ASIC Validation Engineer
We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of our HDD ASIC Validation Team. Duties will include:
Electrical testing and characterization of high-speed IP integrated with digital ASIC logic:
Interfaces include SAS, SATA, DDR, NAND
Implement tests using host emulators/exercisers, bus analyzers, jammers and actual host systems
Develop test infrastructure and automation frameworks with the goal of finding hardware issues early in the ASIC &
Product development cycle
Develop, implement and debug embedded C firmware to be used for validation of internally designed ASICs
Debug of memory and host interface related issues and driving solutions to successful completion
Generate test reports, documentation and communicate results to internal and external stake holders
