Job Summary:
Responsible for direction of patient care in the Day Surgery, PACU, and Endoscopy Lab. Supervises, leads, educates, and monitors staff members in these areas. Consults with staff, physicians, Director of Surgical Services and Chief Nursing Officer on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in quality improvement activities. Assists with the development and adherence to departmental budgets and daily productivity. Performs other duties as assigned.
