Preschool Sports/Fitness Coach, Part-Time

Amazing Athletes is the premier, sports-based enrichment program in the country, looking for a coach in the Oakleaf. Originating in California, Amazing Athletes has grown to be a sister company of Super Soccer Stars, offering flexible schedules, a pathway for growth and development and a chance to work with and inspire children.
As an Amazing Athletes coach, you will be responsible for interacting with children ranging from 18 mos-12 years through multiple sports in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our coaches will begin with training in the Amazing Athletes methods, assisting current coaches in classes, helping with class set-up and paperwork distribution, executing demonstrations in various childcare centers in the territory, enrolling students and looking to consistently grow classes, in order to help you transition into a lead coach role.
We are looking for qualified, early-childhood teachers and coaches presently living in the South Jacksonville, FL area to join our program and be the face of the company! Our vision is to continue creating a unique and positive culture that thrives on excitement, encouragement, development, and teamwork. Our Coaches are passionate about developing an athlete’s confidence, and conveying the importance of teamwork while inspiring active play and fitness.
Although this is a part-time position, a key component to reaching our goals is consistency for the students. We are looking for a coach who would be committed to at least one full year of classes/camps.
Requirements
- Experience working with children 18 mos - 12 years old (professional experience is preferred but all experiences will be considered)
- Experience playing sports and/or coaching children
- Must presently live in the South Jacksonville, Fl area and have dependable transportation to travel to different locations within the Mandarin/St John's areas
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Submit to and have a clean criminal background check and finger printing
- Will need to maintain good relationship with daycare teachers/directors and parents.
