Premise Technician/Isp Installer

Job Description
Prepare and install connectors for use in local area networks (LAN) and automated communications systems.
Utilize test equipment such as LAN testers, fiber testers, and other continuity testers.
Perform full range of cable maintenance, splicing, termination, and transmission work on fiber and copper cables.
Create and maintain database, and modify program contents to provide for new data preferred experience with office systems.
Determine installation and maintenance methods using applicable Industry Standards, base facility standards, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, specification lists, engineered project drawings, building facility drawings, and communications system installation records.
Coordinate with other departments as necessary to perform operational maintenance tests, interface with equipment, and change requirements affecting maintenance and installation activities.
Review, update, and generate documents supporting the communication systems.
