Requirements
Responsibilities:
Repair &
install current &
older precision ag equipment, including GPS receivers, navigation units, precision ag sensors &
transmitters, guidance systems, &
monitors
Bill &
collect payment for anywork done &
equipment sold
Educate &
assist customers on howto use Precision Ag equipment
Stay current on all certifications &
other educational opportunities
Participate as assigned with training, technical documentation, &
other departments to ensure optimal knowledge transfer
Coordinate with field teams to research &
resolve field issues
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or Ag Mechanization or equivalent experience required;
Bachelor's degree preferred
Valid driver's license &
ability to travel more than 50% of work day
Working knowledge of Precision Ag systems &
concepts
Previous experience as a Precision Ag Specialist preferred
Possess sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advise producers on Precision Ag plans, products, &
services
Proficient knowledge of electrical &
wireless communication systems
Certified Crop Advisor certification preferred
