The Position
The Power BI Analyst works cross-functionally to learn business processes, gather requirements, and develop meaningful metrics (KPIs), dashboards and reports within Power BI, which drives employee attention to actionable items throughout the Company. In addition, development and maintenance of data warehouses will be involved in the position. You will work directly with partners on the development and maintenance of solutions;
acting both as a liaison with functional owners and as a co-creator of solutions. In addition to requirements for the position (below) communication and presentation skills are important;
you will be working with employees at all levels in the organization. Be ready to engage associates at multiple facilities where on-site observations and discussions will lead to efficient transaction processing solutions among integrated teams.
The Location
We are located at 8860 Smith's Mill Rd, Suite 100, New Albany, OH. This is a hybrid position.
Additional Job Details
Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders on reporting/metric requirements.
Design &
build KPIs and Power BIdashboards.
Present reporting solutions to associates and implement adjustments based on feedback.
Maintain data integrity of solutions, including maintaining user permissions to reports/metrics over time.
Participate in development of data warehousing solutions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst is required.
Power BI experience is required.
Basic SQL skills are required:
SELECT, JOIN, CASE
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot data.
Must demonstrate understanding of what the data means to stakeholders.
Good interpersonal skills with experience in cross-functional requirements gathering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
