Key Responsibilities:
* Take charge of all aspects of automation and process engineering within our facility.
* Manage and maintain automation equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
* Lead projects for new machine installations, from planning to execution.
* Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts.
* Present innovative projects and proposals to senior management for approval.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 5 or more years of direct experience in engineering development and project management.
* Strong proficiency in PLC programming, with a preference for experience with Rockwell Automation products.
* Proficient in Java, C++, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and assembly language programming.
* Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. This is a full-time direct hire role offering comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary. Please note that the salary range and/or hourly rate range of $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 is a good faith determination of potential base compensation offered to applicants at the time of this job advertisement and may be subject to modification in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or hourly rate, various factors may be taken into account as applicable (such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).
