Platforms Engineer
As a Platforms Engineer at iBASE-t, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that power our digital manufacturing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance. Your expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and monitoring will contribute to the success of our products and services.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud-based architectures for our software platforms.
Automate deployment, configuration, and management of platforms and infrastructure using DevOps principles.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
Monitor, analyze, and report on system performance metrics to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain security best practices for platforms and infrastructure.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing activities.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in platform engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Platforms Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Platforms Engineer or similar role.

Salary Range:
120k-145k/ Yearly Bonus
