Platform Engineer - Vdi

Job Description
Work as an escalation point to VDI end users, troubleshooting issues they haveconnecting to VDI on the Okta, AWS workspaces, and Active Directory environments
Ensure endpoints comply with regulatory requirements (e.G., FedRAMP, NIST, STIG)and maintain client configuration and security compliance standards.
Modify Okta groups, dig into Okta logs, review and recommend on authenticationpolicies and flows
Investigate Active Directory logs and remediate issues
Troubleshoot AWS Workspaces
Collaborate with partner teams supporting the VDI environment to get to the rootcause of issues and iterate on solutions
Design, build, document, and support ongoing automation in endpoint deploymentand management, iterating on deployment solutions.

What you'll bring to the role
Senior-level VDI expertise with AWS Workspaces and BYOL Windows Serverimages .
Senior-level proficiency in scripting and automation, including experience withautomation tools like Powershell, Packer, Okta Workflows, SSM, lambdasGitOpsknowledge, Mergerequests, commits, peerreviews should all be familiarterritory
Knowledge of AWS, including Workspaces,Systems Manager and Directory
Services.
Understanding of end point hardening best practices, CIS Benchmarks, and
Experience with SAML authentication and federation workflows.
Strong communication skills with the ability to produce technical
Documentation, generate reports, and define metrics.
Proven experience in administering and supporting internal and external
Applications and systems
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
Proficient in powershell, bash, Python, Go, or other scripting languages
Experience integrating SaaS and management systems with the Okta platform
Relevant IT industry certifications (Okta, ITIL, GPCE, MCSA, MCITP, or MCTS) are a plus
Experience with Federal requirements and FedRAMP compliance
