Plant Supervisor- 1st Shift

Job Description
Pay Range:
$68,700-$81,312 annually
Purpose of Position:
Responsible for supervising all direct kitchen/processing activities to meet daily production goals and Company service, quality, cost, safety, and people objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise the making and packaging of Fernando’s products that comply with all formulations, specifications, methods, procedures and practices so that Quality Control and HACCP regulations are met to produce a wholesome product
Train and monitor hourly employees taking appropriate disciplinary action as required
Ensure a safe work environment by training and conducting prompt and thorough accident investigations
Provide timely feedback to immediate supervisor regarding problems with productivity, quality, safety, down time and regulatory issues
Manage his/her line to achieve company yield objectives
Attend training as required, including Quality Control, Human Resources, etc.
Must be able to communicate with Inspectors or auditors in response to questions regarding plant procedures
Ensure employees can perform mathematical skills for the purpose of making partial batches, changing schedules, shift cut-offs, etc.
