Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility near Bay City. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and administer department policies, setting goals and objectives.
Direct and coordinate facility activities to achieve goals.
Oversee credit policies, monitor credit limits, and ensure receivables are collected.
Ensure shipments meet or exceed customer specifications.
Manage department staffing and ensure employee training and safety compliance.
Maintain facilities and equipment, coordinating with maintenance for projects.
Ensure all licensing, regulatory reports, and compliance requirements are met.
Conduct annual job evaluations for supervised employees.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong report writing and correspondence skills.
Effective public speaking abilities.
Proficiency with mathematical concepts and practical application.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle varied situations.
