Planner, Strategy

Job Description
We are currently looking for a Planner, Planning Excellence to support the day-to-day Media Planning and Strategy functions for our client. This person will assist a team in the execution and stewardship of media plans for client’s business and report directly to the Supervisor/AMD, Planning Excellence.
Role Objectives:
Responsible for contributing to the creation, maintenance, and execution of media plans for the functional area
Coordinate between Strategy and Buying teams to ensure precise execution of campaigns
Create, manage, and update client authorizations for all buys
Maintain stewardship of reports using Strategy software to assess media schedules of competitors, interpret data and draw conclusions
Prepare flowcharts or media plan development and maintenance
Prepare and issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers including delivery goals and budgets for use in negotiations
Find ways to standardize processes across multiple clients and provide planning fundamentals
