Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients across various age groups.
Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and other imaging studies.
Prescribe medications and therapies and provide guidance on preventive healthcare practices.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
Participate in continuous education and professional development activities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Adhere to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Education:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Certification:
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a relevant specialty.
Licensure:
Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Skills:
