Physician- Hospitalist/Ob

Job Description:
Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician specializing in Hospitalist/OB to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Hospitalist/OB Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the hospital, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology cases. This is a full-time, contract position with the opportunity for permanent placement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients admitted to the hospital, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology cases
- Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers
- Monitor and manage patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in hospital medicine and obstetrics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees as needed
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing care to patients and collaborating with colleagues
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Hospitalist/OB Physician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Willingness to travel and work on a contractual basis
