Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Anesthesiologist to join our team in Albany, NY. As a full-time, temporary employee, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing top-notch care to patients in need of anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthetic plans
- Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop personalized anesthesia plans based on their individual needs
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures
- Provide post-operative pain management and monitor patients' recovery
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and address any concerns
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Anesthesiologist
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations
