Enjoy a low-stress environment, a low patient model (8-15/day), and every Friday off by 1 pm (work weeks are 36 hours or less depending on patient scheduling).
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation of prescriptions, perform initial evaluations, and establish treatment plans with functional and/or work-related goals.
Progress treatment and goals appropriately.
Maintain periodic and timely written communication with physicians.
Manage appropriate discharge and patient follow-up.
Supervise rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed.
Supervise PTAs per the appropriate state practice act.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all treatments, including initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily S.O.A.P. notes, functional status reports, functional capacity evaluations, and insurance/plan of care forms.
Engage in community services, such as hosting health-related fair booths, presenting in-services on orthopedic injuries or prevention, covering special events like sports camps, races, tournaments, and lectures, and performing complimentary public screenings with appropriate referrals.
Maintain effective interoffice communication and follow-up.
Participate in staff in-services to coordinate and maintain the best care throughout the company.
Education and Experience:
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
Valid Physical Therapy License
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
Energetic and a team player.
