Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator

Must-Haves:
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Current Pharmacist license to practice in the state required on hire.
One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
5+ years as a pharmacist in a critical care hospital
Experience in as Lead or Leadership role.
This is for a171-bed hospital that offers a broad scope of services in major medical disciplines. A medical staff of more than 33 affiliated physicians represents a broad cross-section of expertise in 31 medical specialties.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work. The position requires extensive contact with the administration, medical staff, nursing service, hospital staff, and nonhospital personnel (vendors, auditors). This position is responsible for the oversight and leadership of clinical activities of the pharmacy department. The role participates in standards of practice, and ensures quality and patient safety regarding medication management and process improvement activities.
