Pc Deployment Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

Deploy and configure new PCs and laptops for clients, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Receive inventory and track all equipment and hardware flowing through the company warehouse locations.
Pack and ship equipment for delivery to end-users, occasionally delivering on-site as required.
As time allows, assist our engineers with incoming service requests received in a variety of communication formats (email, phone, web portal).
Create and maintain detailed documentation of client environments, configurations, and changes.
Seek opportunities to improve service delivery via automation, policy and procedure updates, and documentation improvements.
Implement and uphold security measures to protect client data and systems, including antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
Work with third-party vendors to resolve issues and coordinate successful resolutions to client issues and projects.
Stay current with emerging technologies and seek constant improvement.
Work closely with other team members to share knowledge and provide consistently excellent service.
Requirements

Have excellent communication and client management skills
Have at least 2 years experience in a help desk or PC deployment role, ideally with experience working at an MSP or in an IT Services environment.
Have strong technical skills and working knowledge of at least some of the following:

Windows and MacOS operating systems
Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange
Microsoft 365 and Intune
Security platforms &
tools
Are detail-oriented and able to document your work
Possess a valid US Driver’s License and have access to reliable transportation.
