Commonwealth Dentistry is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Coordinator is a vital part of our practice, responsible for ensuring that patients have a smooth and positive experience from the moment they contact our office to the completion of their appointment.
Responsibilities:
Answering and managing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, and updating patient records including insurance information.
Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure the schedule is optimized for the dentist and hygienist.
Reinforcing the financial policies of the office and ensuring that payments are collected and recorded accurately.
Checking in patients using dental software and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
Processing payments and transactions during patient check-out.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic records for patients.
Requirements
Requirements:
Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Strong planning and organizational abilities.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Computer literacy, including experience with dental software preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy dental office environment.
Previous experience in dentistry or healthcare is a plus.
