Overview Atlas Therapy is seeking a part-time and PRN Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team at our State College office and help support satellite offices when necessary. Our ideal candidate has a background in healthcare and/or administration, strong attention to detail with the ability to stay well-organized, excellent customer service skills, is extremely friendly and welcoming, and has excellent time management skills.
Requirements
Experience:

Previous Healthcare Administration experience (2-year minimum)
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Understanding and ability to utilize electronic scheduling system
Protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Skills:

Welcoming and attending to patients in the clinic and on the phone.
Scheduling, collecting payments, keeping accurate records, checking patients in/out, and helping to maintain the reception area
Maintaining effective communication with the team and ability to work in a shared space
Following physical therapy guidelines and insurance regulations rigorously
Characteristics:

Must be a highly motivated individual, multi-tasker, excel in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude.
Must be willing to work as a team, keeping patient care on the forefront.
Maintain a willingness to become an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serve our surrounding communities.
