Reporting to the Parts Product and Business Development Manager, the Parts Product Management Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Parts Product Management Team as well as the overall product and marketing strategy for all parts product segments (Ware Wash, Cooking and Baking, Food Machines, or Weigh Wrap). This is a working supervisor position, and specific segment management will also be assigned to this leader. Segment Management includes management of pricing, kitting, product differentiation analysis, refurbishment programs, part lifecycle management, and equipment end of life. Responsibilities also include defining target markets and establishing market size and trends. The Parts Product Management Supervisor requires a high level of interface with Strategic Sourcing, Product Support and Training. The Parts Product Management Supervisor also provides technical leadership for all parts related issues and owns the relationship between the Hobart Parts team and the associated FEG equipment engineering teams.

The Parts Product Manager requires a high level of interface with Strategic Sourcing, Product Support and Training. The Parts Product Manager provides technical leadership for all parts related issues and owns the relationship between the Hobart Parts team and the associated FEG equipment engineering teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, communicate, and implement product policies and pricing strategies to drive sales growth while achieving or exceeding parts profitability targets. Manage, communicate, and implement price adjustments based on market data and corporate goals as required.
Define the parts product line portfolio strategy to include recommendations on parts sales categories (individual piece parts, sub-assemblies, and parts kits) as well as management of the parts item master to ensure integrity of all parts data in the system. Profitably manage a parts refurbishment program for their product line by identifying opportunities to offer refurbished parts that drive increased revenue and margin for Hobart Service while driving a lower owning and operating cost to the end customer. Create impactful messaging enable sales and marketing efforts to demonstrate the increased value of using ITW/FEG parts to end customers.
Facilitate development and implementation of high impact and differentiated product positioning through competitive analysis studies, feature/benefit analysis and documentation, and identification of opportunities for use of proprietary and semi-proprietary parts. Monitor marketplace trends regarding customer’s needs (VOC) and competitive pressures for both competitive parts suppliers (generics) and competitive equipment.
Proactively manage the end-to-end management of the product lifecycle from pre-product launch through the end of life of parts and service support. Understand the equipment parts consumption model and align with materials management to have the proper quantity of parts to support the equipment aligned with the installed base and expected replacement cycle / end of useful life of individual components.
Provide leadership in efforts to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with all ITW Food Equipment groups including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, product management, field support, training, logistics, and field service offices.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and carries out these responsibilities in accordance with the ITW’s policies and applicable laws. Talent recruitment and development is a key responsibility for this role. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;

appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints, coaching for performance, and resolving problems. The Product Management Supervisor has between 4 and 6 direct reports focused on management of the overall parts product line portfolio.
