Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency calls and provide on-scene medical care
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
Assist in the transport of patients to medical facilities
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and emergency personnel
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Continuously monitor patients' condition and provide necessary interventions
Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of medical equipment and supplies
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of an accredited paramedic training program
Current certification as a Paramedic
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Requirements
Experience:
Possess a minimum of 1 year experience as a Paramedic
License:
Louisiana State Paramedic License
Certification:
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
ActiveACLS ,BLS,andPALSCertifications by theAmerican Heart Association
