What you will be doing:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
Have full knowledge of all beverage lists
Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Follow daily assigned employee shift side work
Paces all In Room Dining order distribution and deliveries to our standards
Monitor order/food pick-up/tray assembly/delivery time
Assist inspecting hotel hallways/landings for In Room Dining equipment
Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies properly stored and organized
Follows hotels cleanliness guides
Follows hotel uniform and grooming standards
Complete overnight floor walk for tray removal and door knob menu retrieval
Answer guest calls, take orders, ring into POS system
Close checks in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
