As our Night Auditor, you will thrive working on site with our overnight team to ensure guest safety and satisfaction while also completing the end-of-day accounting duties. Key Responsibilities:
Maintains a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
Ensures guests are recognized upon arrival, receiving a warm greeting and appropriate assistance
Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Assist guests with inquiries, requests and reservations, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
Reconcile the day’s revenue balances and ensures payments to the guest ledger are processed
Balance all PM accounts and prepare Promo Account receipts, by account number
Verify all daily transactions and audit for discrepancies or errors
Prepare daily reports and complete system back-ups per established guidelines and procedures
Ensures Fairmont standards, procedures, and practices (LQA, Forbes, etc.) are followed by providing the highest quality of service, attention to detail and care required
Maintains communication with all departments of the hotel
Promotes positive colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication trust and mutual respect
Performs any and all other tasks which are assigned by management
