Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourOutside Sales Norlab position.The Norlab Outside Sales Representative is responsible for building strong professional relationships and working closely with Norlab customers locally and regionally across our territory. The position’s mission is to expand overall sales, and improve profit margins, all while developing new and supporting existing customers. Problem solving includes troubleshooting and working with customer issues and managing relationships. Impacts include potential for significant customer service, reputational, and financial implications.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Secure Norlab business with Norlab distribution partners (where applicable)
Understand the nature and competitive strength of competitive business forces within our markets, and act accordingly to defend Norlab business
Create annual plan to improve business in four key areas:
serve, grow, enhance, and protect
Build and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing customers, serving their various needs, and calling on them with consistency
Communicate effectively and respectfully with referral sources ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management;
resolves any issues that may arise
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price, and use
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs;
identifies and suggestsproducts and services to meet those needs
Support all Norco retail locations with technical support as required to grow markets
Attending appropriate local and national sales events as needed to grow the Norlab brand
Support and grow our Norlab distributor sales network across Norco with our disposable NLB and refillable SPG gas product lines
Establish and maintain relationships with regional independents gas suppliers providing them with Norlab products
Meet and exceed all sales objectives for refillable and disposable gas product lines
Work with and support and train our local and regional sales reps as needed to support Norlab sales growth
Enter and support customer orders as required via online, EDI, phone or Tims CU
Complete appropriate paperwork as required for compliance and ISO requirements
