Outside Plant (Osp) Technician

Job Description
Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cable to meet job requirements.
Perform cabling, power, grounding of various types of equipment and hardware using proper tools and safety practices.
Prepare cable, fiber or switchboard or power for terminations.
Perform cabling, ironwork, wiring, basic splicing functions, cable and lead verification.
Install, remove, or relocate various common telecommunication equipment.
