Support the enhancement and further development of an Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS). This single platform that features an all-weather fighting goggle and a mixed reality heads-up display that integrates next-generation situational awareness tools and high-resolution simulations to provide mobility and functionality during the day or at night.
Analyzing and interpreting data, including developing system simulations, and implementing automated analysis algorithms
Collaborating with teams of engineers and scientists to progress prototypes to products
Generating reports, test plans, presentations, and other deliverable documentation
Full understanding of the lens assembly process
Experience with optical device testing.
A solid understanding of the optics supply chain
Experience associated with imaging sensors, image processing, and signal/data processing applications is preferred.
Experience with Unix/Linux operating system.
Solid analytical ability.
Self-motivated
Detail-oriented.
Effective in a laboratory environment
Able to work in a team environment.
Must possess a results-oriented approach.
An interest in multiple technical areas
Ph.D. degree in a relevant field;
or Masters in related with 3 years or Bachelors in related with 5+ years of related experience.
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance required.
